The 2021-2022 season was yet another notable season for Connor McDavid. Not only did he make his fifth straight
All-Star Game appearance he had his fifth season of scoring over 100 points posting new career highs in points (123),
assists (79), and goals (44). McDavid’s 123 points were the most of any player in the NHL making McDavid the winner
of his second consecutive Art Ross Trophy and fourth of his career in just his seventh season in the NHL. In winning
his fourth Art Ross Trophy McDavid also became only the seventh player ever to win the award four times joining Wayne Gretzky,
Gordie Howe, Mario Lemieux, Phil Esposito, Jaromir Jagr, and Stan Mikita as the only players to do so.
