Further cementing himself as one of the NHL’s greatest players ever with every season he plays,
Connor McDavid already has a full trophy chest, and he hasn’t even hit 30 yet. The 28-year-old
has already accumulated 5 Art Ross Trophies, 4 Ted Lindsay Awards, 3 Hart Memorial Trophies,
1 Rocket Richard Trophy, and just last season during the 2024 postseason earned his first
Conn Smythe Trophy. McDavid continues to hit point milestones at an astonishingly quick
pace. On January 2nd, 2024, he reached 900 points with a goal and four assists against the
Flyers, making him the fifth-fastest player in NHL history to reach 900 points. A little more
than 10 months later, on November 14th, 2024, McDavid would reach 1,000 points on
a second-period goal against the Predators, making him the fourth-fastest player in NHL
history to reach 1,000 points. If his health holds up, there should be nothing that will stand
in the way of McDavid reaching 2,000 points in his career.
