When the NHL unveiled the new Adidas-branded jerseys at the 2017 NHL Draft in Chicago, several teams
also announced alterations to their logos or colors. The teams that introduced changes for the 2017-18 season included
the Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Edmonton Oilers, Florida
Panthers, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, New Jersey Devils and the Ottawa Senators. The Edmonton Oilers decided to change
the royal blue to navy blue across all branding and trademarks. The change was thought to give the team a crisper and darker
blue look. Along with the changes to the helmets, jerseys and pants came a new color scheme for the gloves.
Connor McDavid, the Edmonton Oilers captain, has lived up to the expectations with his extreme
speed and stick-handling abilities. At 20-years-old, McDavid won the Hart Trophy being
named the NHL MVP for the first time in his young career. These pro-stock game model
authentic CCM gloves have been personally hand-signed and inscribed by Connor McDavid.
McDavid inked his signature in silver paint pen on the right glove and inscribed '16-17 MVP' on the left glove.
His signature and inscription were witnessed by a UDA representative
under UDA's Five Step Authentication Process.
