Having been known as one of the top three skaters in the NHL year in and year out since his rookie season,

points in four of his first six seasons, McDavid tied Sidney Crosby as the eighth fastest player in NHL history to reach the 500
point club, both having accomplished the feat in 369 games. On February 17, 2021, McDavid, known as one of the more selfless players
in all of hockey, found his 500th point coming in the form of an assist to teammate Jesse Puljujarvi to help the Oilers
