In the 1984-1985 season, Michael Jordan started his NBA career with the Chicago
Bulls after being chosen as the third overall pick in the 1984 NBA Draft. Jordan
had an outstanding performance, which led to him receiving the NBA Rookie of
the Year Award and a spot on the All-NBA Second Team. The iconic Jumpman
pose was created in 1985 during a photoshoot for the Nike Air Jordan 1 campaign.
