When he retired, he could never forget the loyalty and fellowship he felt with the people he worked with through the years. After one of many visits to the old fire hall with his grandson, he gave him a real fireman's hat. Bobby knew then that he wanted to follow in his grandfather's footsteps. His 12th birtday was very special because Bobby received a model of Grandpa's truck made just for him and he was filled with a "Sense of Pride".
