The Three Sisters

"On this morning the forecast called for clouds and snow, with a possible break in the clouds at sunrise.
Although 9 times out of 10 in landscape photography, you don't get amazing weather and light, you still
have to drag yourself out of bed to see what happens. I parked near this classic viewpoint of the Three
Sisters while it was still dark and snowing hard. I thought why do I do this to myself, but waited
around to see what might happen. As the light increased I saw the mountains coming into view
so made my way to the viewpoint. I was rewarded with the clouds parting at dawn and beautiful
golden sunlight illuminating the scene. The haze remaining in the background from the snowy,
cloudy weather really contributes a sense of depth to the image."
